The inspiration for our Spanish Gardens styled shoot came from one of the most beautiful cultural landscapes in the world: The Alhambra. Located in Southern Spain, it is surrounded by enchanting gardens, century-old groves and orange blossom trees.
To capture the garden’s essence, we incorporated an abundance of foliage including olive branches, oak, eucalyptus, orange blossoms, privet, jasmine vines, pepper and sage.
To accent the color palette of graphite grey, brass and taupe we included a variety of blooms such as white cloud garden roses, ranunculus, white scabiosa, bush anemones and white climbing roses.
Our head table was designed to reflect a true Spanish feast. Gorgeous wild florals, handmade dinnerware and white linen napkins were accompanied by artisan bread and red wine.
A bodega style table display featured Spanish cheeses, cured meats, and “Rebujito”, a popular drink made with Jerez, lemon soda and mint.
A dessert table featured traditional pastries such as cinnamon sugar donut rings, almond shortbread cookies, red wine poached pears and chocolate almond wafers layered with orange blossom pastry cream. Plus, a four tier honey spiced cake with fresh fig filling and vanilla bean butter cream, decorated with fresh greenery.
