Lucky for us, we had the pleasure of meeting most of these superb Portland wedding vendors at our Portland meet up. It also was the meeting spot for Jon Duenas Photography and Something Borrowed that lead to our next inspirational shoot.
Jon was immediately drawn to the goodness and simplicity of Something Borrowed. Providing affordable and sustainable event planning solutions, with some of the lowest prices in the industry. Exclusive to Something Borrowed Portland is their sliding fee scale. Qualifying individuals can request a discount on vintage rental items if they need some extra assistance. How wonderful is that? Read on to learn more about this unique company and of course see all the pretty pictures up close here.

From Jon Duenas Photography (who is seriously so sweet, if you are looking for a film wedding photographer in Portland, be sure to check him out)
I met Lane' of Something Borrowed at the Wedding Chicks Portland meet up back in February. When she told me what she does, I was immediately drawn to the idea. What a simple, easy, and affordable way for couples to make their DIY wedding decor that much more unique and beautiful. Of course I wanted to work with her! But at the time, I never imagined I'd be lucky enough to also work with some of the best people in the industry here in Portland. What really made the shoot for me was the location. I love epic, Pacific Northwest scenery.
Last year I shot a beautiful wedding out on a local Christmas tree farm owned by the bride's family, and they were kind enough to welcome us back to use the same location for our shoot. It made the perfect setting for the gorgeous table setups by PETALOS, the beautiful gowns by Kate, Holly, and Claire, and of course all the unique vintage items found by Something Borrowed. I hope you all enjoy what we've put together!
