Modern feel

From Something Perfect Weddings & Events: For this inspiration shoot, I was inspired by a pair of headphones, which mixed soft rose gold with the more rigid gunmetal. I love playing with mixed metals right now to create a modern feel. What I love about this color combination is the balance between femininity and masculinity which I feel is an integral element to really create that romantic wedding day reception.

Soft, romantic and modern

The Becthler Museum of Modern Art in Charlotte, NC was the perfect backdrop for the shoot with its modern architecture, gunmetal flooring and clean lines. We added organic flowers, a sweet flower wall and lots of candlelight to keep everything soft and romantic.

Once we had the venue, we had to envision the couple who would host this wedding: a couple who loves to travel, explore modern art & architecture and drink classic cocktails with friends and family. For us, this couple was all about sharing their sweet love story with those they love most in the heart of their city.
