From Effie Grigoriou Photography: What do you get when you pair classic Santorini beach charm with eclectic, vintage style? Everything but an ordinary seaside wedding of course. And when your wedding designer is Anjie Georgakopoulou of Only For You Events, you're in for some serious poetic style.

Anjie is known for her pictorial designs often inspired by literary and silver screen sets and I was thrilled to head down the dramatic scape of Vlyhada beach with the exquisite team orchestrated by The Secret Owl. One of the reasons this specific location was chosen is the duplicity of its setting. The combination of black sands and wild dark rocks on the beach with white and peach marbled boulders on the back makes the backdrop almost surreal to look at.

I was so excited to see the marriage of oceanic and organic elements to modern stylistic touches: a gorgeous boho gown with Bishop sleeves by Greek Couturier Costarellos, rare black coral fans paired with muted and fanciful florals by Studio 7 Flowers, organic shells, Old Havana and Mineral dinnerware from Anthropologie that came together in spellbinding hues to punctuate this love affair by the ocean.
