Perhaps my favorite thing about this venue is its ability to be full transformed to reflect different couples – especially for this wedding inspiration.

If you weren’t familiar with the space, you would hardly recognize it after 36th Street Events and Remi & Gold (along with the rest of the vendor team!) totally transformed the space into a golden wonderland with rentals by Bee Lavish Event Rentals, Premiere Rentals and Table Manners.

The dried florals really tied the day together between the bouquet, the bout, the jaw-dropping hanging installation by Remi & Gold for the ceremony AND the reception space. Greenery can really take away from a design, making this design especially unique in that the texture makes it more interesting and intentional than just regular greens being used for filler.

Bonjour Brigadeiro provided an assortment of mouthwatering and photogenic desserts and Simply Delicious Custom Cakes created an ultra modern cake. Three tier white cake with waves of deep color and a sugar sculpture make it one of the most unique ones we've seen.

Outside of the space itself, I’m SO pumped that this shoot was focused on highlighting incredibly talented Black wedding vendors – from our beauty stylist Keziah Bevans, to the paper design by Ivelisse Design, to our models Abyon Ausar and Madison King, it was so refreshing to actively lift up such inspired members of our Austin wedding community. Even the menu cards are inspired by the designer's (Ivelisse Design) collection that uplifts Black feminine beauty.

The color palette didn’t hurt either. It was a golden wonderland. While captured in the fall, this palette transcends seasons making it the perfect wedding inspiration for couples who are planning a wedding next year. Even the incredible bridal gown by Rish Bridal from Unbridaled added to the whimsical feeling of the shoot.
