From Cristen & Co.: I love a space with a rich history and Boston Harbor Distillery was just that. Its origins of being an invention hub for Silas S. Putnam, to a yacht building by George Lawley & Sons Shipyard and the sweet ice cream confections by the Seymour Family, it truly is a unique space in itself. The delicious spirits distilled in this space are all named after its legacies! It cultivated our overall aesthetic of an Offbeat Industrial Vintage Wedding Weekend Celebration.
My inspiration not only came from the Distillery itself but the idea of cozying up to a toasty fire in a rustic exposed beamed cabin, wrapped in fur with a stiff old fashioned gathered with your partner, family and friends. There is something perfectly romantic about a winter wedding nestled up with your love. We combined rich tones of rustic reds, midnight blues, clarets with subtle shuttle grays and alto beiges that complimented the space and season precisely. We added some masculine undertones that paired well with the wintry distillery environment like leathers, wood, textured linen napkins and even the pub mix that was set on each place setting.
