As we've all learned in 2020, adaptation is key the theme of the year. This team wanted to show us all the best way to feel like you're on vacation, away from it all and enjoying tropical details. The Tropical Team Shares Inspiration

Claudia of Claudia Strenger Calligraphy & Stationery created all of the "tropical waves" inspired. She instantly knew that by bringing textures and nature, she could create the look-and-feel that the team was imagining. Claudia used a real leaf for the place cards and for the wedding suite and mostly earth tones, adding some leaf shapes into the design. Note: Claudia used white oil based Sharpie to do the calligraphy on the leaves.

Lorie from H&L Lovely says that when planning for this shoot, the team wanted to include natural elements that can transmit a feeling of peace and relaxation; something that can inspire an eco-friendly + tropical gateway hence we included lots of tropical leaves & palm trees, coconuts, tropical fruits and neutral colors. The location had to be close to the ocean and Terra Laguna was the right venue for it. H&L Lovely was sure to add items that prompt you to think of a nice vacation: cocktails under the palm trees, a refreshing palletas (and ode to hispanic culture), lush fruits, and a sunset at the beach.

In keeping with the times, Petal + Paperie created hand sanitizers as the perfect favors for this tropical inspired shoot. They were hand bottled and custom labeled by Petal + Paperie. Tricia, the owner of Petal + Paperie, will work with you on creating the perfect custom label for your event.

Patricia from The Crafty Stem wove in local foliage is a stylish and economical way to add a sense of place and culture to this tropical wedding. From ferns and orchids to the grand monstera and sacred Ti leaf, no beach bride is complete without a touch of tropical greenery.
