A limestone quarry may not be on your venue radar, but it sure does make for one dreamy location for this berry beautiful wedding inspiration from PomPom your life! The warm berry hues pop against the white washed stone backdrop, and what about all the vibrant blooms from Milles Fleurs?! Pure magic.
The delicious vintage dessert bar has us craving something sweet, and drizzled in chocolate. We're also smitten with the sophisticated, yet sexy long sleeve lace gown with a dramatic plunging v-neck from Siödam Couture. With so much to love, you certainly can't miss the full gallery because Anja Schneemann Photography outdid herself with some truly stunning images! Enjoy!
From PomPom Your Life!: Main inspiration for our shooting were ripe summer berries and fruits. As a location we chose a limestone quarry close to the city of Hanover. The light colors and textures of the quarry that were even brighter in sunlight were a wonderful contrast to the intense and deep colors of the flowers and decoration details. The white stone walls provided an amazing and almost magical scenery.
Friederike Rahlfes from Milles Fleurs is a dedicated florist. She put all her passion into a breathtaking flower decoration in wonderful berry-tones. She created a wild and oppulent bridal bouquet and garland that decorated the little sweet bar. For the bride she created a stunning headpiece and a garland.
We wanted to capture the timeless beauty of natural, organic elements. Therefor we combined a rustic wooden table covered with fine stonewashed linen in a deep red color with simply colored wooden chairs to create a colorful atmosphere with a little bit of vintage. The table was topped with a flower garland. The accent color was gold which is a perfect fit for warm berry-tones.
For the sweet tooth Eghlima from Mundus created a little treat bar that combined delicious sweets that were heavily decorated with fruits and a lemonade stand. Another eye-catcher was the beautiful and naturally styled bride with her matching make-up and her loose hairdo, wearing this dreamlike floral hairpiece and a dress designed by Daalarna and provided by Sioedam Couture. The stationary was calligraphed by amazing calligraphist Nicole Sprekelmann from Nicnillas Ink. She included the color concept of the shoot by illustrating little blackberry twigs on a watercolor background.
