The lush green backdrop of the great Pacific Northwest steals our hearts once again, and this time it’s at the lovely Monet Vineyards just outside of Portland. This scenic property was the inspiration behind the design, which aimed to infuse the colors and textures of the PNW along with pops of blush and gold.
Esther Louise Photography and Gather Events brought together an amazing team of talents to bring this vision to life, so if you’re looking for vendors in the Portland area, be sure to show them some love! Read more about the design below, and catch a closer glimpse of the shoot in its entirety in the full gallery.
From Gather Events: When we were approached by the lovely Esther of Esther Louise Photography to concept a wedding styled shoot at the incredible Monet Vineyards, we were absolutely beside ourselves. The moment you step onto this incredible property, you’re instantly transported to the European countryside through the impeccable design and landscaping vision of the venue’s owner Luisa DePaiva. We couldn’t imagine a better backdrop to style an inspirational scene!
As designers, we love to play with the juxtapositions of elements at hand. Pairing soft, luxe textiles, with clean, modern lines gave us just the right balance to give a scene that oh-so-satisfying detailed dimension! For our tablescape, we loved bringing in mid-century inspired chairs from Vintage Meets Modern, to pair with a classic wood farm table. The natural linen Parachute Home napkins are lovely next to the modern two-toned flatware from the Party Place. We LOVE the delicate dance of Hilary Horvath’s soft romantic florals with the masculine leather seating cards by Golden Hour Paper and the feather elements at the place settings.
For our beautiful couple’s look, we opted for sleek, modern attire, accented with natural, whimsical touches. The bride’s beautiful Alexandra Grecco dress from A & B Bridal provided the perfect backless silhouette for a whimsical braided look by the lovely Kirstie Wight Makeup and Hair. Our dapper groom’s suit, by J. Hilburn, blended so nicely with the blue skies and light blue accents throughout.
