The cityscape of Dallas made for a gorgeous backdrop at this modern rooftop wedding shoot. Shades of blue and silver fill the tablescape, florals and even the gorgeous watercolor floral reception dress. Dyan Kethley Photography and Pop Parties did a fantastic job utilizing the rooftop location at 400 Ervay, and centered the table around an existing light fixture to create and stunning, over the top centerpiece for this chic party.
Have we mentioned the gorgeous watercolor wedding cake yet from Fancy Cakes by Lauren? You’re in for a treat! Read more about their process below, and if you’re dying for more images the full gallery sure won’t disappoint!
From Pop Parties: This cityscape shoot was designed around an existing chandelier structure, which serves as ambient lighting for the rooftop event space at 400 Ervay. The custom Nardos Design blue and white gown inspired the hues used for the shoot to compliment the cool metals of downtown buildings.
Here, we are able to show future clients and other creative partners how to use existing space so that it functions in new ways. For the shoot we placed two tables on either side of the box and had a custom watercolor table top designed to bridge the gaps for the most functionality.
Soft textures of navy linen and steel colored banquette seating accented the sharp lines from neighboring buildings of the downtown backdrop. Mixed metals with graphite flatware, rock napkin rings, and silver dinnerware accented the blue and silver hues played off of from both venue and cityscape alike.
