From City Savvy Imaging: My favorite type of wedding to photograph is the one that presents new concepts that are uniquely executed in a chic way. I thoughtfully styled this shoot so that it would be visually and physically enticing to any guest who would have the pleasure to attend this wedding. I believe the best way to completely get lost in serene romance is to completely flood a room in candlelight. From the dinner table to the arbor aisle, this couple was embraced with warmth and soft light.
This styled wedding is a successful example of how a fusion of various styles can be woven together to generate a beautiful cohesive flow. The use of Dusty Miller, Cedar Pine, Birch, Echeveria and Seeded Eucalyptus by Gratitude Heart Garden Florist, was carried through the cake, the dinner table, the arbor and the bridal bouquet.
I fell in love with the bride’s auburn red hair against the blush veil, the way the candlelight bounced off of the gold chargers on the dinner table and all the various textures of the succulents contrasting against the smooth manzanita wood. The bride is modeling a ceremony look in a custom made blush dress and veil by Mignonette Bridal. Her reception dress, also by Mignonette displays a simple way to change out the tulle for satin and generate a sleek and more glamorous feel for the night.
The accent color of gold gives a vintage lavish feel that moves throughout the flatware, the jewelry, the bouquet and even dusting the cake’s edges. Alliance Bakery made an amazing 3-tiered cake that emulated an actual birch tree and incorporated the bride and grooms initials for a personal touch.
