Pigmint Floral Studiodid an amazing job at bringing this vision to life. One of the most stand-out elements was the tulip tree branches - an unexpected flower that helped break up the greenery, add height and depth, and show off its magnificent blooms that only last a few weeks. The modern style of the Osage House included a chapel full of natural light that helped accentuate the ceremony design. In the reception, soft colors and textures were incorporated that accentuated the flowers. The mild notes of yellow and blush in the place settings played a key role in creating a cohesive look throughout.
Shindig Paperie took inspiration and created a beautiful menu and invitation suite to match. Bridal model Domynique looked absolutely stunning in a whimsical dress from Tesori Bridal And Formal that had a beautiful, subtle blush undertone to it. The cake was the finishing touch for this incredible shoot. Shelby Lynns Cake always does an exceptional job. She not only bakes delicious cakes, but she creates beautiful art with her designs. To make the cake the center point of the reception design, we added a subtle lace to match the bride's dress, as well as a few flowers to bring it to life.
1. Be clear with your vision and inspiration. Put together a mood board! Really dig deep into what inspires you. This is also important so you can clearly communicate with the vendors that you choose.
2. Choose your vendors based off of your mood board and inspiration. Do your research and find vendors who share the same style and who you can trust to execute your vision. For example, if you're wanting a garden-inspired, organic, floral design, don't choose a florist who specializes in bohemian styles.
3. Take your time! Plan your day with plenty of time to think through and revisit all of the details. It will truly be a day you remember for the rest of your life!
