A lavender field at sunset was the backdrop for this French country inspired wedding which was nothing short of magical, and probably smelled soooo good! Lauren McLean Planning was the style guru behind the shoot along with an amazing team of creative vendors at Weir’s Lane Lavender & Apiary in Dundas, Ontario.
The chemistry between the RL engaged couple is as sweet as can be and set a romantic tone throughout the shoot. Fresh lavender was a key element in the design and was featured in just about everything, including the signature cocktail and seating chart. Inspired by the vast lavender fields in Provence, France, Lauren McLean Planning coordinated a dreamy sunset shoot at Weir’s Lane Lavender & Apiary in Dundas, Ontario. The highlight of this creative shoot was the authentic chemistry found between the models Ella and Richard; a charming couple engaged to be married in real life in less than a month. Fotografi Productions witnessed their true love story unfold from behind the lens of the camera, stating it was nothing short of magical.
Floral & Brick designed floral arrangements using a subtle colour palette and delicate blooms, allowing the vivid purple hues radiating from the lavender field to stand out. Cre8ive Studio Rentals shared their unique, French-inspired décor and furniture pieces which fit perfectly with the vision for the shoot. Mix-and-match vintage china and flatware were showcased on a white-washed harvest table with matching cross-back chairs provided by Fresh Look Design.
Influenced by the tranquility of the lavender fields, Copper Green Designs created a simple, yet elegant invitation suite and escort cards featuring dainty lavender buds and an enchanting font. Saving Thyme Catering & Patisserie carefully prepared delectable macarons and a classic French Croquembouche; its’ fragile threads of caramel gleaming as the sun set on that warm summer night.
