It's officially Fall and yes that does mean it is harvest season and both pumpkins and their highly sought after spice are absolutely everywhere, but that doesn't mean they need to decorate or flavor your big day. Our next gorgeous rainy fall wedding inspiration comes to us via Rosewood Weddings and we are so in love with their unique take on a fall wedding that does not include a single pumpkin or harvest gourde.

It's early Fall... but we decided on no mums, no pumpkins and no cider. Instead, we're serving up a twist on Fall weddings with fashion-forward details and bright autumnal colors...all set in a Spanish terrace!
Encouraging couples to have fun with their wedding day attire, we pulled nontraditional looks, like an ivory crepe dress, and a velvet leopard print suit for the groom.
We jumped on the Spanish Mediterranean feel by styling colorful plates of food, including an octopus covered in chimichurri sauce; olives, orange zest, and tomatoes.
Our cake baker tried replicating the color of terracotta for her frosting and struggled. But, she finally nailed it. The uneven, square tiered cake was cool - but the sugar dahlias and ranunculus flowers were INCREDIBLE. Everyone thought they were real flowers.
Our florist is a flower farmer (which is rare for Wisconsin climate); she cut down early autumn greens, leaves, and dahlias from her farm. Playing with fall colors like rust, orange and red, she created a cool ceremony set up in the terrace courtyard.
We got rained on - but the models dried off in the amazing marbled bathroom with some champagne and stogies.
