Instead of going to one of your favorite vacation spots for your elopement, what if you went somewhere new? According to Blast Concept, that's the way to go! It's a great way to create new memories together specific to that special time. You can discover a new city, try new restaurants, and explore this new and exciting phase in your relationship. So every time you go back and visit you'll be transported back to the day that you promised forever to each other. Now, it doesn't get much more romantic than that!
Blast Concept and Bruiloftkriebels wanted to encourage couples to travel abroad for their elopement and to think outside the box when it comes to choosing their destination. And, even though this is an elopement, they made a point to incorporate traditional wedding elements like a lovely tiered cake and stunning florals created by Flors Bahi for their vow exchange. With its unique landscape and Western vibe, Espai Granada was the perfect location for this adventurous elopement. We can't get enough of these moody photos by Nolla Photography and this video by Timo and Kay beautifully captures all of the love between the happy couple. Keep reading to hear more from Blast Concept about this incredible day and all about the adorable surprise that the groom planned for his bride!

This destination wedding shoot is about a Dutch couple who are head over heels in love and discovering the Mediterranean city of Barcelona as they celebrate their elopement–just the two of them. We are Blast Concept, the creative mind behind this shoot. The aim of this shoot is to inspire couples from all over the world to have their elopement or wedding abroad. In this case, we chose Barcelona. It has tons of delicious food, art, beautiful beaches and landscapes, and of course… a perfect climate!
So, Paul and Laura (the couple) decided to travel to Spain as they always wanted to go to Barcelona! Dutch photographer Nolla Photography and videographers Timo and Kay decided to join us and make it a memorable experience! Once they arrived, their day started with a ride on a Harley Davidson to the botanical gardens of the Montjuïc. In this place, you can really feel the Mediterranean vibe of the city. They were amazed by this stunning location which is surrounded by palm trees and cacti. The bride wore a long country-inspired dress by the Spanish designer Inmaculada Garcia and she’s wearing an artisan hat, hand-made by Raceu Hats. Her makeup and hair were done by makeup artist Alba Quiros and hairstylist Inge of The Bridal Bar. The rings the groom is wearing were designed by Dirty Paradise Jewellery.
After their romantic walk in the gardens, they hopped on the bike again to get back to their apartment and started to get ready for their big night! The bride looked down from the balcony, where she wore an elegant gown by Inmaculada Garcia. This time, she is rocking a more glamourous look. On their way to the next location, the couple ran down the street while they snapped some selfies with their Polaroid camera. When they arrived at the rooftop of Espai Granada some great musicians, named Tu Musica Events, were playing. They had a blast together! They had their own party in their own way. There was live music, there were candles and pillows on the floor, and you couldn't miss the cake, made by Wonder Cakes Bcn. You'd think it couldn't get more perfect, but then, the groom surprised his bride with a super cute puppy! Their big day couldn’t have been better!
