From Morgan Events: Lush gardens abound on Campovida’s property. Design inspiration flowed from the Tuscan Garden and we couldn’t resist it’s alluring charm. The goal was to blend our design elements to enhance the existing beauty of the property.
Valley Oak trees take center stage in the lawn area creating the ideal backdrop for a wedding ceremony. To add a little more panache to the lawn, Revel Floral constructed a wooden arbor defining the ceremony space where the bride and groom would exchange vows. The arbor was framed with soft fabric drapes loosely tied back to the posts. Mock Orange, a flowering green boasting long-lasting, citrus-fragrant white blooms- were placed asymmetrically along the two sides of the arbor’s frame. This created an illusion of verticality to the lush garden floor as the greenery blended right into the lawn. Finally, distressed-wood chairs with linen fabric were set to define the bride’s walk down the aisle.
Beneath an arbor of trailing wisteria, we designed a country garden-inspired dining area. Here we placed a 16 foot king’s table and three square tables with seating for 8. Neutral linens covered the tables ensuring the bright blooms would pop with color. Coral Charm Peonies, David Austin Garden roses, Tulips, White Lilac and Pittosporum were nestled in carved stone pottery or gold stemmed vessels. Luscious sprigs of Mock Orange sprang from the arrangements.
We laid gold-plated flatware to compliment the floral arrangements and chose an intricate patterned china in antique white. The place settings were meant to be delicate and traditional, reminiscent of the ceramic tableware a country manor house might use for dinner service. Menus were printed with an artichoke graphic and backed with textured fabric adding a simple, yet elegant layer of softness to the place setting.
Above the dining area, lavender and white wisteria dangled from the arbor. With such a serene outdoor setting, we couldn’t help but admire Mother Nature’s handiwork. The fragrant blooms were the icing on the cake of our country garden inspired table design.
