VENETIAN DREAM
Venice tops the polls as Italy’s most romantic city. So, when the idea of the styled photoshoot was born, we did not have any doubts... it had to happen in Venice. The foreign couples that aim to have a destination wedding in Italy still cherish long-held concepts of luxury - such as quality, comfort, and exclusivity, but through the prism of a new set of aspirations such as elegance, purity, grace, no excesses.
We wanted to transmit these values thanks to the photo shooting. At the same time, it was extremely important for us to inspire all the grooms and brides-to-be and all the people related somehow to the Wedding industry to live the beautiful wedding experience that many couples and suppliers, because of the pandemic situation, had to reschedule.
The shooting took place is the heart of Venice – recently restored 5 starred hotel The St. Regis Venice five minutes walking distance from the world-famous St. Mark’s Square. A combination of five 18th - and 19th – century palazzi, the hotel has views across some of Venice’s most iconic landmarks and been defined by the city’s artistic and cultural legacy. Revolutionary in design, The St. Regis Venice merges the historic origins of its location with striking, custom interiors. Modern elegance was the main idea of the styling.
HIDDEN PARADISE
Symbolic ceremony was held on the panoramic rooftop terrace with the breathtaking view of the Venetian lagoon. Talented florist Evelina Florence Flowers created a hidden paradise in this cozy area, while the seating dinner was located in the Garden (on the big terrace on the ground floor very close to the water).
In our project, we could not miss the shooting on St. Mark’s Square. Therefore, after the ceremony and before the reception, our groom and bride-to-be enjoyed a pleasant walk at Riva Degli Schiavoni and danced in front of St. Mark’s Basilica. Gabriele Malagoli captured these special moments. The concept, planning, and coordination of You're My Paradise is by My Venice Events and its creative director Masha Mikheeva.
