Discovering a wedding venue that has the feeling of being outdoors without having to worry about the weather is priceless! The Kimmel Center, a PA wedding venue is just that. As you will soon discover from this styled shoot designed by Campbell Studios and photographed by Lindsay Docherty Photography how lovely an indoor event can be here.

We reached out to Paper-Rock-Scissors for all of our printed materials. We love the shades of blush to coral that invite the guests from the very beginning and follow through with escort cards and menu cards in the same circular theme. The delight of the Kimmel Center is the juxtaposition between the outdoors brought inside the modern architecture affords. We built the design around the natural, organic details of spring with a young and contemporary sensibility. Each bride had a bouquet that, while modern, remained feminine with a hint of traditional style. Each of the floral elements were echoed in the reception design with place settings and rentals styled from Party Rental Ltd and the floral décor and vintage stemware from Campbell Studios. Parrot Tulips, Coral Amaryllis, and bright orange Ranunculus burst forth on the canopy of flowers in the centerpieces – both elements in the bouquets woven together.
Bario-Neal Jewelry is a boutique jeweler whose mission statement sealed the deal for us (as if their stunning pieces didn’t have us head over heels!). They are committed to environmental responsibility, ethical sourcing, and marriage equality. Having them on board by providing the wedding rings and earrings was an essential element in our shoot. Not only did it stay true to our same sex nuptial celebration but it keeps our commitment to community in the wedding we designed. One set of rings were 14k rose gold sparkling with diamonds, the other a funky 14k yellow gold octagonal band paired with a horizontal marquis diamond engagement ring. Our shorthaired bride wore moonstone bezel stud earrings.
The only thing better than one lovely bride in a wedding dress is two! The Wedding Pavilion at Van Cleve provided the beautiful gowns that our young brides wore. All of the details from start to finish had a nod to vintage tradition with a contemporary spin and this certainly was true with the bridal trousseau. The feather details that highlighted the décolletage in the model wearing the Pronovias (2014 collection) could not be more feminine. Her lovely partner wore Atelier Pronovias. This silk crepe column gown with chiffon illusion neckline and sleeves was a gorgeous tie in. No wedding would be complete without champagne and cake – so we highlighted this tradition with vintage champagne glasses and a textured butter cream cake from The Master’s Baker decorated to highlight the pops of color bursting in spring.
