The image of a deep northern New England forest dimly lit filled with wildlife, tall trees, moss covered rocks and ferns that blanket the forest floor was the stem of inspiration. And, in making this wedding unique we incorporated torn denim and indigo and woodland hues with tattered, eclectic and antiqued pieces that coincide with the elements of nature. The grounds of the Meadow Brook Inn portrayed a woodsy atmosphere that let our bride become the queen of the forest, casual chic yet fierce. Complete with a white washed farm table scattered moss, collections of old bottles filled with various ferns and flowers that the bees very much loved.

The simple beauty of the vintage crackled pews set our ceremony area with a dramatic backdrop of twigged lighting, stumps and draping ferns. From the cocktail picnic area under the pine trees with artisan breads and gourmet cheeses to the whiskey, bourbon and brandy bar with seating for two on a blue antique settee with fur and wooden furnishings brought all the natural aspects of the deep forest throughout. Every forest has its natural sweet treat, from our display of berried tarts and pies to rustic spice cake with various tiers of different frosting textures drizzled with caramel and topped with blue colored berries.
