From SRS Events: The bride and groom selected the idyllic Goodstone Inn in Hunt Country, Middleburg, Virginia for their intimate elopement. They sought bright and colorful, while still keeping it romantic and sophisticated. Their invitation suite featured the bride's favorite color, a dusty mauve, while also incorporating their crest of flowers and ivy, a throwback to the venue's ivy facade. Stamps on the envelope clued guests into the wedding location with a Virginia stamp and a fox stamp for Hunt Country.
A Welcome Box gifted guests citrus tea, which was a nod to their citrus-inspired signature drinks and Virginia peanuts. The bride loved the bold orange colors greeting guests. Their dining table was adorned with mismatched blue China patterns and a bright centerpiece that evoked the fun spirit of the newlyweds. The florals included roses, dahlias, daisies, stock, and astilbe.
Their intimate ceremony in front of the ivy facade was captured by a live painter, a memento sure to be treasured. Guests enjoyed cocktails with a vintage lounge set by the gardens and fun mobile bars, pouring the newlywed's signature Citrus Sunset drink. The bride even customized the bar cart with her crest to add a personal touch! The evening concluded with their red velvet wedding cake that featured the dusty mauve seen on the invitations and the florals coinciding with the bride's bouquet and centerpiece.
