This fall shoot was so much fun to create in this private backyard! It includes a mixture of jewel tones, with a touch of boho, on the beautiful grounds in Wyoming County, NY. The golden tones of the fields, mixed with the jewel tones and vintage furniture, give engaged couples inspiration for their own upcoming wedding. The touches of boho elements were added to give this an eclectic and overall relaxed vibe. This popular look marries well with the natural setting and the variety of vintage pieces.
The invitation design is a perfect match for this style of wedding. The jewel tones, mixed with the vintage and boho elements, all combine to create a beautifully curated suite by the artist, Jaycie from J/RAE - designer + creative.
The vintage style wedding gown by M.A. Carr Bridal lends a slightly more elegant look, but when paired with the floral hairpiece by William’s Florist, the beautiful makeup from Grace Suzanne Makeup, and hair in loose curls by Ashley Casey, it fits with the overall style of the shoot.
The lace flower girl dresses, by Kutie Tuties, also work with the boho look. The colors contribute to the jewel tones throughout and with their cute floral crowns, they too fit their roles perfectly! Who doesn’t love seeing a dog with a floral collar?! Adorable! Miss Stella was such a well-behaved model, and she looks so sweet as part of the party!
The dark wooden doors open to reveal this beautiful and natural landscape. The ceremony takes place overlooking the vast field, with the arbor allowing for this backdrop to be the focal point. Mixed with the beautiful florals by William’s Florist, macramé hangings, rugs, and chandelier, it creates the perfect setting to exchange vows. The mismatched seating of wooden chairs, pews, and upholstered furniture, allows guests to witness the happy couple in a unique way.
The tablescape area includes a custom-made farm table, with peacock chairs, fitting for the newly married couple. The ice cream chairs, paired with the vintage lace accents, add an eclectic look. Jewel tone glassware and accents, mixed with the gorgeous floral centerpiece, all work together to deliver a welcoming and stylish eating space.
With fall, comes yummy treats, and around the Western New York area, that means it’s time for Apple Cider Donuts and Cider from Mayer Bros. This local company makes the most delicious donuts, and so we had to have them as a part of the party! This donut bar features these popular sweets and next to it is the beverage area of apple cider. Yum!
The lounge area features a mix of vintage pieces and touches of bohemian elements. With light strands hovering above, this makes quite the space for relaxing and having a conversation with guests.
Lastly, but certainly not least, is the talented photographer, Amanda, from Amanda Lynn Photography. She is amazing. Not only is she a sweet person, but her photos tell a story and truly are artistic and inspiring to look at. I’m so incredibly honored that she did this shoot with me. Her photography style is perfect for this moody creation, and I am so happy to share her talent and skills! Overall, this shoot represents the design and vibe of an eclectic, fall wedding. Wouldn’t you want to attend…?
