Recently, Amber from De Joy Photography teamed up with Events By Classic to photograph a styled shoot at an ideal location - The Barns at Cooper Molera in Monterey, California. Founded over 190 years ago yet recently renovated, the venue embodies the story of the families who lived in and built Monterey through the transition of Alta Mexico into the State of California. Its history and stories are told through the 19th-century adobe wall, original barn interior, and the smell of local flowers and plants that grow throughout the property.
The ring provided by Fire & Brilliance, bursting with natural diamonds and a moissanite center, is classic yet breathtaking and pairs beautifully with the traditionally gorgeous wedding dress provided by Epiphany Boutique. Madison from Beauty by M chose a soft, updo hairstyle with texture for the ceremony, and let half down for a look that enables her to dance the night away, while the makeup focused on creating a soft smoky eye with soft pink lips.
Leveraging the natural history and beauty of the venue, Chic Event Rentals was inspired to design a lounge area fit for a rustic, elegant wedding. Freedom Bakery brought the latest in wedding fashion with an enchanting buttercream cake with horizontal texture, adorned with flowers that complement the floral arrangements throughout the venue provided by Cassia Foret.
Inspired by the love and the beauty in nature itself, Cassia Foret used a vibrant color pallet. A combination of the 2019 spring and summer Pantone color trend, creating the perfect contrast and balance for the story to be told in this wood filled historical monument. Gorgeous large peonies in that joyful "Pink Peacock" shade as the star on every piece including the bride's bouquet.
