When you picture a bohemian style wedding what is the first thing that springs to mind? A flower-crowned bride with free-flowing locks standing beside her casually, yet nattily dressed, husband-to-be on a worn Persian rug in a sun-soaked field of wildflowers? (I have seen my fair share of boho chic weddings) But what if your Boho wedding is set for one of the frostier winter months?
Blue Rose Photography and Simply By Tamara Nicole take that bohemian wedding idea and flips it on its head. This gorgeous winter wedding inspiration shows you just how to have a winter wedding with an alternative boho style. You can see every last amazing photo in the full gallery so be sure to stop by there a little later!
Our inspiration for the Bohemian Mountain Elopement was pulled from a mix of amethyst and mauve colors, crystals/natural stones, SNOW, and fun textures with pops of wood, metallic pewter, and wool. For the free spirit/adventurist couple who has impeccable taste in home decor touches as well as fashion.
The cake by Honey Crumb Cake Studio was adorned with feathers cut out of fondant surrounding the mauve/lilac cake, as well as some fun bubbles/textures throughout the design.
The flowers by Thatch Floral really contrasted against the snow and paired well with the candles.
Bespoke Strokes wrote the vows in calligraphy that they read to each other for their intimate elopement. The simple invite suite was made by Dahlia Press. The thick Merlino blanket from Woolly Cloud kept them warm while they read their vows to each other in the snow.
Our Bride (Jenna) has ombre hair, and Yessie Libby added some sparkle to her hair to glisten against the snow, as well as pretty natural makeup. Jenna was adorned with jewelry and accessories for multiple fun boho inspired bridal looks. The natural stone rings from The Fox and the Stone were layered on her fingers. Adding a light grey boho hat was the perfect accessory to dress down her beautiful Provnovias gown from La Belle Elaine's for her mountain elopement!
One of my favorite details was the crystal crown, created by Kattilac Gems. The perfect mix of Boho, Winter, and pretty
Our Groom Trent was fitted in a grey suit from Trillium Tailor, and a coordinating light purple tie, and plaid pocket square. How cool are his long hair and man bun?!
Small amethyst decor pieces from Happy Brands brought a hint of boho from summer, into winter with the air plants! There was a purple wool wall hanging we hung from the trees to help bring a warm homey feel to the cold snow. We had so much fun on this Elopement shoot, and hope it can bring some fun Boho vibes and inspiration to people!
