How To Have A Digital Eco Friendly And Romantic Wedding
Downtown Denver has a new wedding venue, one with a killer view I might add! So to celebrate this gorgeous new location we teamed up with Katie Corinine Photography and her team of excellent vendors to give you these romantic and eco-friendly wedding ideas with a digital age spin.
Keep scrolling to see how to save paper and postage for digital wedding invitations, and just wait until you see the up-lit table centerpiece! You can see more of these ideas in the full gallery.
The Venue
This is a brand new venue in literally the heart of Denver with 360 views of downtown Denver as well as the Rocky Mountains. The venue is a rooftop which sits atop 5 levels of luxury suites that can be rented by the wedding guests and couple.
Inspired by the city skyline, we incorporated its silhouette into the wedding invites which were all delivered electronically to be eco-friendly. The name cards were as well and were a scheduled email or text message during the wedding which we displayed on guests phones. The cards each have the guest's table which are names of famous Denver buildings that are all viewable from the rooftop patio! The menu card is encased in an acrylic block for each table. The acrylic is utilized throughout the shoot. In this case, the block is easily changed as it has a magnetic closure and can be later switched with wedding photos.
The Decor
The table decor is inspired as well by the Denver skyline. The centerpieces are different sizes and cut square acrylic tubes with uplighting filling the tube with lavender and pink light (which of course can be changed). Around the base are grey stones (a bit like concrete) with a beautiful arrangement of flowers and pampas grass for added texture.
The linens are purple and sand with a grey lace overlay. The dress is embellished and an off the shoulder Martina Liana blush gown. It is soft and romantic even in the industrial setting. The jewelry is actually rose gold as well as the floral headpiece and compliments the sand and blush dress perfectly. Paired with a James Bond-esk tuxedo it is a perfectly modern, romantic style.
