As a destination wedding planning and event design firm, we get the privilege of working with couples to plan their weddings and elopements all around the world. One of our favorite places to plan weddings and elopements is in Washington State.
We recently designed a styled shoot collaboration with some of Seattle's top wedding industry vendors. Our concept was "Industrial Romance." We wanted to highlight the industrial feel that radiates throughout the urban cities of Washington while creating a juxtaposition with romantic and bold elements.
We designed this concept in the iconic Fremont Foundry and transformed the space into a dream intimate wedding. The space had such amazing light that crept through against the tones of wood and concrete. We emphasized this feeling through the use of bold color and print/patterns.
In addition, we also wanted to incorporate some natural elements and textures to contrast with the industrial feel. We utilized elements such as wood, wicker, cowhide, antlers, and more to bridge the gap between these themes.
To complete the design, we styled our bride with a bold look, an updo, minimal jewelry, and a gown that we personally flew in from Hawaii.
