When the universe aligns…a lucky star might just give you a love that is “out of this world.” To celebrate that once in a lifetime moment, we pay homage to the night the lovers met with a celestial, ethereal dream-inspired theme.
The Yost Theater is an art deco revival of a historic theater located downtown Santa Ana. In honor of the night the lover’s universe aligned, Monge Amore Events designed and planned details of extraordinary proportions with Sarah Mack Photo and Made By Blink to document every magical moment.
The inspiration behind the shoot came from the deep blues in space and celestial elements like the stars and the moon. We wanted to transport you to a “love out of this world,” while still being down to earth.
The bride was the center of the groom’s universe as she radiated with beauty by Design Visage. Oh, and that gorgeous dress with flared bell sleeves + bedding detailing? It’s by Rue de Seine, from the boutique Lovely Bride. The bride’s “velvety” groom wore a velvet black tuxedo from Friar Tux to compliment his stunning celestial bride.
The guests were able to travel through space as they visited a hippy new-age arch created by Monge Amore Events, which held a constellation of hanging metal shapes to serve as our seating chart. What better way to end the evening than with a taste of cake from the heavens, provided by Plumeria Cake Studios and a vow to always love each other to the many moons and back.
Fleur.ish utilized metallic paint on naturally dried florals and fauna to create this intergalactic bohemian vibe.
Painted tree branches suspended over the ceremony site, draped strung carnations for a delicate and unique floral accent. To frame our couple’s nuptials, Fleur.ish created cloud inspired florals within freestanding gold geometric, provided by Sundrop Rentals. All of this was set against the Venue’s LCD screen that projected images of moving through space!
An ethereal aerialist from Artist Creating Entertainment created living art, which perfectly accented this dreamy decor.
Balloonzilla’s breathtaking balloon installation and final balloon drop made it as if time stood still. Seriously, like nothing you have ever seen.
An intimate dinner for the newlyweds followed as they found their place in the cosmos. A crescent moon created by Paper Moon Shoppe and decorated by Fleur.ish floated above their table. The bridal party table was lined by ghost chairs provided by Baker Party Rentals and topped with metallic geometric chargers underneath grey ceramic plates. Celestial shaped gold name cards were created by Paper Mint Press for a little extra flare. The final touches were added by midnight blue goblets and brass chalices to create a romantic and elegant tablescape contributed by Sundrop Vintage.
