I always love a good neutral colour palette but I also love a palette full of colours! When couples tell me they want to do something different and add some boldness, the design results end up being a fun mix of bold tones! This editorial, I poured my heart out with the tablescape being my favourite part, scroll to see more.
Our bride embraced three different looks starting off with a flirty pink tulle dress. All-tulle dresses are so on trend for this upcoming year. It's seen on fashion runways and definitely in the bridal world. For a modern look, this stylish bride also wore a jumpsuit by Savannah Miller Bridal in replacement for her traditional wedding gown look. Lastly to keep things bright, this stunning yellow Monique L'Huillier gown stole the show! With so much going on around and in the wardrobe, Blush & Balm kept a neutral lip but played with colours on the eyelids. The bride's natural texture was beautiful and Shannon Petrolito worked with it to show more of it instead of hiding it away in a tight bun.
Our three cakes made by the talented Cakelaine is something you've never seen before. There's dimension, layers, textures and sugar flowers! Everything you can ask for in a wedding cake.
Florals are an incredible way to add a pop of colour but we also used a lavender linen on the table to really make a statement. Since this shade of purple is softer, it doesn't compete with the oranges, yellows and pinks, instead it's a lovely combination. Wld North Flowers mastered this palette. The colourful bouquet is an accessory on your wedding day, you'll be carrying it all day. Along with Simply Beautiful Decor's tabletop rental and Food Dudes vibrant catering, the reception table is full of personality. What's better than a dish that looks beautiful but tastes delicious too!
We can't stop expressing our love for colour that Christine Lim Photography captured! Does this palette inspire you?
