So you tied the knot just under a year ago, huh? Any ideas on how to celebrate your first year anniversary? This next cute couple decided to have a photo session with all their wedding vendors to commemorate the reading of love letters they wrote on their wedding day. Daaaaawwwwwww! So with a bouquet and floral crown created by their florist, The Bloom of Time, and their wedding photographer, Aga Jones, snapping candid shots they shared happy tears, hugs and kisses.
Oh and did we mention their little fur-baby made it into the shoot too? Keep scrolling to see more and don't forget to stop by the full gallery to see even more from this 1 year anniversary shoot.
From the Bride: Although Jason and I have been together for over ten years, we have officially been married for one year! As a gift to ourselves, we decided to have a photoshoot with our fur-son that incorporated elements reminiscent to our wedding day. All vendors used for this shoot were ones we used on our wedding.
Our photographer, Aga Jones, has become a special part of our lives being the one to capture these milestones of our relationship. She photographed our engagement session and our wedding, so it was a no-brainer that she was the one for this job. Adrienne and her team from the Bloom of Time created the floral masterpieces in our wedding, and was able to do an amazing job creating my bouquet and flower crown inspired by the floral in our wedding.
Our unity ceremony was a unique one. We had this glass box of stones representing our family and friends and moments that lead us up to our wedding. We each wrote in-the-moment notes to each other to be placed in the box and remain un-read until our one-year anniversary. Finally getting to read these notes and holding something my husband wrote to me during our ceremony was beyond-words magical.
One of my favorite moments from this session was towards the end when we were within the final minutes of sunlight. Growing more and more louder, we began to hear the croaking of near-by frogs. The memories of our wedding day, about the same time a year ago, came flooding back! That was one of our favorite moments on our big day...that we could hear the frogs in the stream behind us putting us in the ambiance of what felt like Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.
