This luxury wedding inspiration showcases one of the many hidden treasures in the French Riviera. The Chateau Saint-Georges is a protected monument filled with rich history dating back to the 19th century. If these walls could talk, oh the stories they could tell! Imagine for a second if your wedding could be one them. Gold gilded details, opulent chandeliers and lush outdoor gardens create the perfect backdrop for a romantic destination wedding big or small.
White Eden Weddings envisioned this space with a light color palette of blush and gold, and chose a simplistic style with garden florals to bring it all to life. It’s as gorgeous as can be, and the real-life couple takes it a step further with their flirtatious on-camera chemistry. From White Eden Weddings: French Riviera has so many treasures to offer and the Château Saint-Georges is definitely one of them. The chateau is a 19th century protected monument filled with History and stories. The Queen Victoria herself visited the chateau and enjoyed long walks in the garden. The chateau is a perfect safe heaven that radiates French refinement and Southern serenity at the same time. From the minute we passed the gate of the domain, we knew we had to do a styled shoot there.
In order to enhance the natural majesty of the venue, we chose to work on a light color palette. We focused on light pink highlighted by notes of gold, echoing the blush facade and the strong gilding inside the chateau. The goal was to give a strong, ethereal and refined spirit to the outdoor scenes. The elegant decoration designed by Mademoiselle Deco illustrates this sophisticated frame. From the customized counter to the clean table setting, the atmosphere breathes simplicity & clean design.
We focused on details and on making this project unique, starting with Elmo Paperstories who beautifully hand-designed a bespoke stationery suite and reproduced the beautiful Temple of Love of the venue on the invitations. Mademoiselle Jules created gorgeous florals revealing the nonchalant elegance we were looking for, in particular with a one-of a kind falling composition on the sweetheart table matching the bride’s stunning bouquet. The boutonniere and the very French cheese wedding-cake ornament – which was an important detail to the shoot – were composed of selected flowers matching the environment and the spirit of authenticity we wanted to introduce.
The collusion of the bride and groom, who happen to be a real-life couple, brings sparkles of candor to the shoot, enhanced by the simplicity and natural look of the bride’s hairdo and makeup by Amandine Baron. The elegant diamond jewelry set made by the local French jeweler Louis Julian adds a touch of fineness. The film photographer Christophe Serrano played a key role thanks to his way to capture the light, from the garden to the indoor ballroom transporting us to the magical moment we were hoping for.
