Can we also just take a minute and love on the Bride's style, a total showstopper with that gown, hair, red lip, and giant floral bouquet to tie it all together. How are we feeling about neon signs in 2021? Because we are still super loving them.

A Vision Come True

The vision of this shoot was to curate a contrasting aesthetic and present a glamourous twist to the new day, intimate wedding. The concept was created by Planner, Tifphany Nichol of Tifphany Nichol Weddings who initially fell in love with the use of the color black as a primary color. Alongside floral designer, Roberta Salcedo of Bella Fiori Events, photographer Katherine Elizabeth of Katherine Elizabeth Photography, and an amazingly talented vendor team, we ran with bold colors and florid décor in our quest to redefined bridal inspiration.

Moody and artistic in design, the photographer artfully captures the coexistence of fine art bridal and floral opulence. White floor wrapping and elegant drapes transformed this blank slate venue into the perfect angelic utopia. Gilded chairs, towering floating candles, and stylish gold flatware adorn the serpentine table, perfect for intimate dining. The combination of high and low jewel-colored florals brightens up the scenery. To add to the vision, we incorporated a black cake, accented with gold.

Bridal Portrait Ideas

Bridal portraits highlight the more dreamy elements of the dress – its romantic train, delicate button detail, and bony straps, in a separate lounge area. The faux bride captured on the black backdrop is gallant and daring, offering a new take on traditional bridal portrait aesthetics. The niceties of the stunning bride is finished with the use of a pink loveseat and a glowing neon sign reading “Better Together” makes the perfect statement.

Thinking Outside The box

This shoot challenges today’s COVID-impacted bride to think outside the box, with no restrictions. Although the pandemic has changed much, don’t shy away from maintaining control over the parts that haven’t changed. Wow your guests, and yourself, by exploring aesthetics that will create photo memories to last forever.
