Going Green With This Greenhouse Wedding
Is spring your fav season? all that blooming and a feeling of a fresh new start, we totally get it, so when we saw the beautiful greenhouse wedding idea put together by P. Thien Nguyen we had to share it with all of you! Not only does this wedding inspiration allow you to dream of your perfect springtime wedding day any time of year, but its organic beauty is beyond breathtaking.

The Venue
Robertson's Greenhouse was the perfect setting for a cold weather bridal shoot. On this particular day in Philadelphia, it was 24 degrees and snowing. But inside the greenhouse was warm and lush, like Spring. Being in this venue allowed for an "indoor" shoot, with the feeling and colors of being outside. The greenhouse created a luminous effect on the flowers and bride because a gorgeous natural light was allowed to shine in from all angles of the space.
The Decor
The flowers and plants provided an abundance of color to compliment the strapless, low backed minimalist dress worn by the bride. The invitation suite and the tablescape was rich in warm colors; yellows, oranges, and reds to match the bride's bouquet and the floral centerpiece.
The Bridal Style
Although this shoot was very colorful, the bride's hair, makeup, and dress portrayed a simple elegance, playing on the theme of "less is more", and providing an overall balance to the scene. This innovative space gives brides who are getting married in colder seasons, the natural light they desire, without having to brave the cold.
The Photos
The images were taken with a Contax 645 on Kodak Portra 400. Portra beautifully captures the true essence and color of flowers and skin tone, which was what I wanted for this particular bridal session.
