There's just something so light and romantic about Spring and Summer... the new plant life springing up, the green grass arriving, the flowers blooming... oh, the flowers! Speaking of flowers, we have a flower filled wedding brunch that will incredibly inspire you.
For instance... how much do you love this flower wall? Such a beautiful way to brighten and freshen up any space. See more darling blooms from this shoot in the full gallery here, captured by Anna Gleave Photography and Ashley Kidder.
Spring and summer weddings are my favorite. They just are! As a wedding photographer, I can't get enough of gorgeous blooms. I became obsessed with the idea of doing a floral wall, so I called up the ridiculously talented Stephanie Clark of Lalé Floral Designs to make the vision come to life. I love the linear floral design on the walls, contrasting with the free-flowing arrangement on the table and the bride's free-form bouquet.
We wanted the shoot to be as fresh and light as possible, so we decided upon an intimate wedding brunch as the basis for our wedding inspiration, pulled in our favorite caterer to devise some delicious (and ridiculously beautiful) brunch food. We especially love the details of the glitter-frosted champagne glasses, the mini fruit tarts, and the fresh croissants. We loved the camaraderie of the group as we actually brunched-- cut cake, laughed, ate quiche-- the whole shebang!
Our light palette of blush, taupe, and golds tied together perfectly with the gold detail on the bride's Lazaro gown, the bridesmaids' flowing blush dresses, and the table details. We love the dreaminess of the shoot-- the fresh vibes mixed with a few vintage elements (those chairs!) and an urban Denver background; it makes the whole inspiration completely one-of-a-kind.
