From Oh Marriage: Venice is definitely a very attractive destination for all the couples in love! Mysterious and romantic, hiding the shine of the old world palaces and drama of love stories of past centuries! We were lucky enough to find a amazing venue, a small hotel called Palazetto Pisani. We were fascinated at the first glance of its chic interiors and stunning atmosphere of an era gone by. We found our inspiration for the wedding decor in the old-fashioned interiors of the hotel.
The floral design was a mixture of colors; burgundy, navy blue, gold, chocolate and a dusty pink. For the bride's bouquet and flower arrangements for the wedding dinner we wanted to use a noble variety of colors, which would emphasize the chicness of the space. The choice fell to ranunculus in a blueberry hue, beige single-head roses, lavender peony-roses, lisianthus in a deep blueberry shade, berries, heliborus and some Italian greens.
We have prepared two sets of calligraphy for the shooting. One was made with dark floral prints, that repeated the colors and the composition of the florals. And the second one - on watercolor paper, painted by hand with the application of gold calligraphy.
We organized wedding dinner in one of the Palazetto’s halls, covered the table with the vintage velvet in a sophisticated pink color, focusing on antique plates, cutlery and candlesticks holding bronze candles.
We also used the velvet theme in the bride’s looks - so in the morning she was wearing a dark blue velvet floor-length robe with the lazy sybarite vibes, the groom's tie and a box for the rings was also made out of the velvet. The wedding look of the bride included the wedding dress in a soft gold shade, richly embroidered with crystals and pearls repeated patterns of the architecture of the Venice. There was an additional regal touch in the hair of the bride, a small crown that matches with dress design and color. For the groom, we chose a timeless classic, an elegant black suit and light shirt.
The Shoot took place mainly in the Palazetto stunning interior, but afterward our newlyweds walked through the streets of Venice as the sun set.
