We love spring and summer! Sunshine and flowers abound and that means wedding season is in full swing. So if you find yourself planning your wedding for either one of these seasons and gardens have been on your mind Dulce de V Photography and M&T Wedding and Events have five wedding details that will make your garden themed big day shine! Oh and don't miss the extra bonus details in the full gallery.
We wanted to use a real couple as our models so my wonderful college friend and her husband agreed to partake. They married in June 2017 and it was great to bring them back together as a bride and groom to relive their dream day over again.
The bride's and groom's attire are the same from their special day in June 2017. I loved the fact that the interaction was genuine. They made each other laugh during the session and it was not uncomfortable for them to show their love.
The bride's hair was styled by Aja from Aja Blu Salon. I wanted to go with a regal yet simple design that any bride could wear. This hairstyle is suitable for with or without a veil. Our bride completed her own makeup, perfect for that elopement setting. Nails were sculpted by Shauna from Nails Done Wright. We wanted to go with a soft pink color that would accent any wedding dress or color theme.
The Rockville Civic Center is a hidden gem within Rockville MD. There is a mansion within the park with a beautiful garden on the east side. The garden includes stone archways, pathways and sitting arrangements. A small fountain, and amazing views of the luscious open field.
Miranda from M&T Weddings and Events will be offering floral designs and arrangements in her event planning services so she created the bride's bouquet. The floral arrangements and centerpiece consisted of hydrangea, ranunculus, and purple garden roses. The floral accents on the table settings held pieces of lavender.
The table design was created by La Toya Bell from Event Decor Inc. She incorporated our flowers and garden lights within the lanterns. Our vintage furniture came from Something Vintage Rentals! The white furniture correlated with the garden surroundings and white diamond lattice panel. The table is a whitewashed farm table and the chairs are white distressed caned back chairs.
Our amazing cake came from Voula from Blue Lace Cakes. The cake consisted of a variety of light purples, sugar poppies, and sweet peas. The gorgeous details of this cake make you think those are real flowers! Voula's dedication to detail is amazing! Additionally, our cake designer use to be a photographer and helped guide the direction of the styled shoot!
