From Event Crush: The inspiration behind this shoot came from my love of all things Disney, and more specifically the iconic Disney princesses that my daughter is now growing up watching just as I did. I wanted the details to be filled with a fairy tale romance and subtle Disney princess touches, but nothing over the top. I wanted to show brides and couples that you can include your favorite things in to your wedding and still make it beautiful and unique without being cheesy or cliche. One of the first details I found for the shoot was the gorgeous blush sequin and tulle flower girl dress from Petite Adele, and I based many of the details off of this darling dress. Our flower girl (who happens to be my daughter) was the perfect "princess in training" with her mini horse and cart adorned with florals. We included a few beautiful signs with famous Disney princess sayings hand lettered by Off the Vine Calligraphy + Design throughout the shoot.
I already had the perfect setting in mind, the Stewart Family Farm in Harrisburg, OR, which is a gorgeous garden venue that is beautifully landscaped and full of whimsy. The whimsical feel (which is so often seen in Disney films) was incorporated throughout the shoot in many areas including the mismatched place settings and the enchanting floral designs by Good Seed Floral (the bouquet had the biggest peony I had ever seen in my life!).
Our bride wore a stunning Wtoo wedding gown from Blush Bridal Boutique here in Eugene; the detailing on the bodice is absolutely stunning and transformed her instantly in to a princess, especially when paired with the gorgeous work of Kelsey Garrison and Jamie Edeleman of JLE Artistry for her hair and makeup.
