This wedding inspiration was based on the beauty of the southern spring and summer. Photographed at stunning plantation house, Fair Havens, the event designer, Southern Sophistication Designs, based the entire inspiration on the magnolia trees that frame the house.
The inspiration began with the beautiful invitation suite in ivory with gold foil polka dot accents, and things kept being beautiful from there. Every aspect of this emerald green plantation wedding shoot is breathtaking, take a deep breath and explore the full gallery here, photographed by Andie Freeman Photography.
The bride's shoes were beautiful white Badgley Mischka pumpsĀ and the maid of honor's shoes were gold Amanda Gregory booties. The bride wore a stunning bespoke couture gown from Chris Hudson Couture. The Maid of Honor donned a antique gold gown designed by Adrianna Papell from High Maintenance Formalwear. Both had soft, yet dramatic hair and makeup by Jeris Farmer and Jaclyn Pearson of Bombshell Creations. The groom wore an on trend dark grey tux provided by Perno's Formalwear.
The bride and maid of honor both carried bouquets of Queen Anne's Lace and magnolia leaves along with small daisies made by florist, Bud and Bloom. The are all flowers that are local to this area. Our reception table was a dark wood estate table bracketed by cross back chairs provided by Goodwin Rentals. The designer chose a magnolia leaf garland to adorn the dark wood estate table. On either side, the place settings provided by Vintage English Tea Cup matched the palette with white and gold vintage china, along with bespoke fluted water glasses from the venue. Gold candlesticks with white candles ran down the center of the table. A simple and very elegant estate table design.
For the food table, designer, Jessie Patton of Southern Sophistication Designs, chose beautiful ways to display the southern fare. From shrimp and grits to a biscuit bar, its a delicious southern treat. The cake was placed in the center of the front porch. This cake, adorned with magnolias and gold and white icing, was a treat for the eyes and the palette! Eileen Carter Creations did a magnificent job as always. After dessert, guests could enjoy Southern Honey Bourbon from the crystal decanter on the bar cart.
