You don’t have to travel all the way to Italy to have a Tuscan-inspired wedding, and that’s what Laurel Events LA was going for at the Villa Del Sol D’oro in Sierra Madre, California. They chose a neutral color palette + blush to compliment the venues warm natural tones and terra cotta walls.
The chic table design features mixed elements like wood, glass, metallics and garden flowers both on the table and the ground. Read more about the design below and catch a closer look in the full gallery from Billye Donya Photography.
The moment we laid eyes on Villa Del Sol D’oro, we felt like we transported to Tuscany. We knew the historic venue would be the perfect backdrop with its warm textured walls, intricate stonework, and the arched doorways enveloping the courtyard. With these European aesthetics in mind, we created an al fresco reception table that honors tradition with a sleek touch.
The floral arrangements introduce even more texture. All of the natural colors are found on the grounds of Villa Del Sol D’oro. The arrangements are loosely fashioned to give the effect that they have been effortlessly picked from a European garden. Set atop a textured linen runner alongside delicate name cards mimicking the flowers, the relaxed yet refined approach comes to life. The linen gracefully flows down to tall glass hurricanes and romantic ground-level florals and wild greenery, which bookend the table with an undeniable romantic charm.
To add to the romance, the bride’s cascading bouquet consists of classic Garden Roses, Lisanthius, Ranuculus, Roses, and Hellebores held together by a gorgeous distressed velvet ribbon. Our bride wore a lace wedding gown which always exudes Italian elegance. With her dress in mind, we used vintage inspired polished silver accessories to capture the wedding rings and dainty invitations inspired by the local quails. Every timeless detail is a nod to the past with an eye to the future.
