This inspirational wedding shoot was created to showcase an eclectic feel with mis-matched "rule breaking". It's so full of color and fun that you won't know where to look next! There's so much to see so don't miss a wink and take a peek at the full gallery here, beautifully captured by 3Photography.
Once we decided on the overall theme next was the palette which was actually a bit trickier - we knew we wanted something soft but also required something to punch up the emphasis on the graphic prints which is where the navy and gold game in, immediately the navy and gold grounded the overall feel and gave this theme that initially sounded a bit crazy more of a classic feel which really sat well with us.
Gold bottles, ceramic pots with hand painted DIY graphics, loads of sparkle and washi tape accents were our way of incorporating the ever popular DIY concept, but also to demonstrate that not all of the vases have to be the same style or make. We also sourced chevron vases, lanterns, and gold-dipped silverware from Crate and Barrel which really helped to tie the table together. Ultimately we love the way everything came together - soft but dramatic, and tons of fun!
