When you think "Earth Tones", immediately you think neutrals, but the earth isn't neutral at all! In fact, it's quite the opposite; Earth is erupting with color...and so is this crazy beautiful elopement in Santorini. The groom wore a cool teal sport coat that was the exact same shade of blue as the still water on the horizon and the orange floral arch captured every color in the warm sunset. This wedding was all about the couple becoming one with each other and celebrating that love, everything else was just background (albeit a very pretty background).
Perched on the side of a volcano overlooking the water, El Viento, a private villa was the perfect venue for this nature-inspired wedding. Lighthouse Photography captured every little look between these two and you can truly feel the love in every photo. I Do Films Global was there to get it all on video. Red Box created organic floral arrangements that look like they grew right out of the ground. Hera's Weddings was with the couple from the very beginning to help them plan their dream wedding, and may we say, they did a spectacular job. This couple invited all of their vendors to join them for dinner after the ceremony, and if that's not a stellar endorsement, we don't know what is. Rena and Michael's love story was pure inspiration! Their strong personalities, magical chemistry, delicate, warm hearts, and incredible love for each other made it too easy to get inspired and create this masterpiece. The couple's natural colors, their authentic looks, the sparkles when they would simply look into each other's eyes were the perfect inspirational canvas to start the design adventure. The venue, a windmill villa named El Viento, has jaw-dropping views of the naturally curved cliffs and the restless volcano making this place the ideal location for this chic, rustic design.
During their preparations, the couple chose to listen to soft rock ballad remixes like "Come As You Are" by Sixth Finger, which perfectly represented their strong emotions. The weather was perfect, and the couple really enjoyed every single moment! Their only request was for all the vendors to join them for a friendly dinner at the end of the night. This dinner evolved into a great celebration among friends full of laughter and joy! Everyone had a nice story to tell and the couple had so much fun until we called it a night. The highlight of the night was the delicious wedding cake with the gold touches which we all shared as a dessert.
I would suggest all couples wishing to get married abroad find their ideal planner with whom they can build a faithful relationship; as this person will be responsible for designing and creating the most incredible memories for their most memorable day! Their planner will be the person who will guide them throughout the planning process, they will be their representative in all matters at their destination, and will guide them when it comes to choosing services that will highlight their character and personality the best!
