Does this wedding dress look familiar? That's because it's not truly a dress at all, it's the tulle robe that broke the internet and has been trending on TikTok ever since. Not only is it jaw-droppingly gorgeous, it's under $200! This team wanted to create the ideal modern wedding where desert meets industrial chic and they seriously pulled it off. This inspiration is more than just a pretty styled shoot, it's super attainable for any couple, no matter what your budget is.
The Wandering Ivy wanted to create a modern take on the classic desert wedding by pulling in clean industrial elements. Storehouse 408, with its cement walls and wood accents, was the perfect venue for this shoot. Using mostly dried flowers and greenery, these lovely boho arrangments mesh beautifully with the desert theme. We love how Brittany G Photography captured this picture-perfect color palette in every photo! Inspired by the desert and industrial settings, wedding florist and designer The Wandering Ivy planned this styled shoot to showcase both elements to the fullest. A modern tablescape, whimsical florals, and non-traditional wedding dress are just a few of the details. Needless to say, this monochromatic wedding inspiration will hit you in all the feels. With this editorial, we really wanted to have a full wedding feel. We started with the details, moved to a first look, a ceremony moment, bridal portraits, and ended with a reception and first dance. From start to finish, we believe we created the perfect desert wedding inspiration for a couple looking to have an urban and industrial wedding.
This wedding inspiration came to life with some of the most amazing vendors. The venue, Storehouse 408, was the perfect urban setting for a desert-inspired wedding. The tablescape came together with a whitewashed table and modern wishbone chairs from Divine Furniture Rental, beautiful white, gold, and sage green place settings from Simply Beautiful Decor, and candles/florals from The Wandering Ivy. Cake artist, Nadia And Co created the one-of-a-kind green square-shaped cake. The beyond beautiful custom stationery with unique and thoughtful accents was designed and created by Avi Scribbles. The large ceremony floral arrangement created by The Wandering Ivy featured a mixture of white fresh and dried flowers and large dried palm leaves. All these incredible vendor contributions were captured perfectly by our editorial photographer, Brittany G Photography.
Kate Danielle provided the stunning green amethyst ring which was complemented by a velvet ring box from The Little Rock Box. Our bride model, Nicole, was dolled up by makeup artist Dani Lynn Artistry and hairstylist Beauty By Bek and wore a unique beige tulle dress from Amazon paired with boots from Nasty Gal and custom earrings from Rose And Ash. Mike, our groom model, wore a moss green suit from RW & Co paired with white leather sneakers from Cole Haan.
If you want a wedding like this the 3 things you will have to focus on are florals, unique tabletop rentals, and we would highly recommend hiring a planner or at least a stylist to bring it to life for you.
