I am obsessed with everything about our next shoot from the bride's Reclamation boho wedding gown to the Papas grass ceremony backdrop to the star inspired wedding cake. This entire inspirational shoot was beautifully executed from start to finish. Bonus! Scroll down to see how a day like this would cost you.
The entire day was created by a group of local Lake Placid and New York wedding vendors that typically do not do styled shoots. However, they wanted to showcase how couples can create an ultra-chic outdoor vibe in the mountains Forgoing the typical "rustic theme wedding," they all see so much. Mixing it up is always a good idea.
You can view all the images in the full gallery here, but be sure to please scroll down and take it all in, especially the two raccoons that decided to join the couple for their intimate dinner. Lake Placid wedding photographers, Mountainaire Gatherings captured all the photos.
River Ranch is one of the oldest homes in Lake Placid and sits on 200 acres. They allow for tented Weddings and Events in their field with the most iconic panoramic views of the Adirondacks. The estate is an AIRBNB and has been featured on Green Wedding Shoes and in Martha Steward (print). 85% of the shoot was taken at this property. Including Readying, Dressing, Cake Cutting, Wooded Areas and River. We ended in the end with a trek to the River... Extremely worth it. You must scroll down to see. Can't wait? There are more images of the property and the house here.
adorned the hat and designed the stunning neutral bouquet. It was overflowing with anemone, a variety of dried grasses, and two dried proteas. My first time seeing a dried protea in a wedding bouquet, and I must say it looks stunning.
They styled the groom in a Marigold suit from our friends at the Black Tux paired with a turquoise bolo tie and a dried boutonniere. We sourced quite a few beautiful bolo ties from Native Indian Made. This Navajo cluster turquoise bolo tie is my personal favorite.
This entire day was the vision of Placid Planner, a boutique wedding planning firm located in the Olympic Village of Lake Placid. As you can see, they specialize in creating outdoor weddings that are uniquely beautiful.
The nationally popular Adirondack Store was the setting for the tablescape photos, where two furry friends joined the couple for dinner.
The tiered multi-textured cake was designed by The Fancy Cake Box. Loving the lace border that dripped with stars, it goes ever so perfectly with the bride's bohemian wedding dress and the overall theme.
Please remember that prices change as time goes on. This is simply to give you a general idea of what a wedding like this might cost you.
