Winter is coming to an end! Tulips were even starting to push their way through the dirt after the fresh rain. This shoot inspired all involved and made us that much more eager for spring and summer to arrive!
As a result of this shoot, we hope that brides are inspired to be BOLD and FREE to express themselves through their wedding. Wear that bright lipstick! Wear that chic ponytail! Be yourself and use those crazy looking flowers if they shout "YOU"! While you're waiting for the warm summer weather take a peak at more colorful watercolor wedding ideas from the full gallery here, photographed by Abby Bell.
The wedding invites, created by Kim Foster, totally embodied the theme with the carefree strokes of watercolor across the front. Brigid Shinn did a flawless job creating a glamorous, dewy and fresh look for this modern bride. We really wanted her look to be a statement, yet classy. Both of the models effortlessly worked so well in front of the camera, with Terrace On Grand providing the perfect environment for this fresh, unique and colorful shoot. I feel this shoot embodies the spirit of both bold and classy. Why not have your cake and eat it, too?
My designer did an amazing job creating some fun, unique and colorful centerpieces, along with making every table detail totally rad. She also painted both of the canvases you see brilliantly displayed throughout the shoot, and those really helped capture the vision we were striving for. Molly Anderson grabbed hold of the Modern Art Gallery inspiration and ran with it. Her dimensional cake with its modern lines coincided perfectly with our theme.
