Claire Pettibone’s New Heirloom Embellishments Collection Is Flat Lay Perfection

Last month, we wrote a post about what to prep for your wedding day photo styling kit - because, a lot of times, it’s a task that can get overlooked in the months, weeks, and days leading up to the main event. I, for one, would have LOVED for my photographer to have a bit more up her sleeve when it came to styling my getting-ready shots, because I liveeee for details and special touches, and the relics of the morning awaiting my wedding didn’t have a whole lot of sparkle or unexpected charm. I feel like the flat lays that incorporated my shoes, my dress bodice, my perfume, my invitation suite, my jewelry, etc. could have been much more beautiful and creative, but after two years of planning my wedding, picking my vendor team, curating every last frame of the day, I was just too wiped out. That’s why I am sooo excited for brides to have the opportunity to elevate their entire photojournalistic process with the unveiling of Claire Pettibone’s Heirloom Embellishments Collection.

There are very few things that render us completely breathless, but an awe-inspiring fine art photograph is one that does so quite mesmerizingly. And Claire’s aesthetic, her deeply romantic, enchanting, fiercely feminine, nymph-like natural lightness and painterly prowess is one that will always fit into that soft-touch, fine art look. With gentle use of color, couture details, European laces, and graceful embroideries, Claire manifests this effortless flutter and flow to make a bride look and feel like a goddess - and now she’s sharing all of the good vibes and her incredible artistry with brides and her fellow creatives. It’s like pixie dust has actually come to life by way of CP’s box of heirloom magic.

A ring might make the fiancée, but the special things make the bride

“Over the years, I've had the privilege of designing and collecting the finest laces, ribbons, fabrics, and trimmings from all over the world. I've always loved the idea of sharing these special treasures with others in a unique way, so this new venture has been a long time coming. One thing this pandemic has reinforced for me, is my desire to create beauty, and an even greater appreciation for quality, meaningful things that we make with our own hands and hearts.

So many brides are incorporating DIY touches to their weddings, and these trimmings will be perfect for tablescapes, wedding decor, invitations, florals…the list goes on and on!” ~ Claire Pettibone, Designer and Creative Director

((I’m not even a bride or a wedding pro (photographer, planner, florist, stationer, etc.), but years of ideating and creative directing photo shoots for my clients in the wedding world have motivated me to be in endless pursuit of the perfect, dream arsenal of styling props and tools. Claire, you have answered the prayers of so many creatives like myself and makers of every kind THANK YOU 🙌🙌🙌)).

Vendors, your couples have entrusted you with their love stories...

So it’s up to you to package them up in the most beautiful of ways and furnish a memory book for their now and forever reference!

“Photographers and stylists can never have too many goodies in their styling kits, and these vintage pieces are perfect for flat lays and creative projects… not to mention, when some of our trims and laces are discontinued and we can’t get them anymore, being able to offer these remaining pieces and sentimental snippets to our fellow creatives feels like the perfect way to spread the beauty and put these treasures to use.” ~ Claire Pettibone, Designer and Creative Director

3 different looks, so that every bride can play on her day.

I’m a fan of the Renaissance box, because rose gold is my spirit metallic, but here are a few notes on ALL of the inspired collections.
