Inspiration for this shoot was drawn from the idea of a love story with roots in the desert. During the styling process, our team of vendors imagined a couple who met on vacation in the desert and were taken with each other at first sight. They fell in love instantly and bought a house together in Palm Beach, Florida. On the day of their wedding, they wanted their guests to experience elements from the inception of their love story in the desert in tandem with elements from their first home together where they have started to plant roots.

fresh and Dry elements

This styled shoot brings together elements from opposing landscapes. Fresh citrus, warm orange tones and tropical greenery presented in a vast and dry desert scene, allow for the contrasting details to shine. Pops of copper and gold compliment the varying orange highlights throughout the shoot. The color palette and contrasting elements carry through to both floral and tablescape design, highlighting dried flowers and dried oranges in tandem with whole fruit and live flowers. Table numbers incorporate dried flowers embedded in acrylic blocks. Dried oranges wrapped in vellum are used atop plates as name cards. The contrasting black middle plate and accenting cutlery create a grounding color on the tables, allowing for the primary colors to further pop.
