• NEW Wedding Ideas

There are weddings and then there are parties that you happen to wear a tulle ballgown to, and this inspiration shoot is the latter. We love a neutral color palette and minimalist florals, but there's something about a bright color palette like this one that just makes you smile. Inspired by their own colorful brands, these Florida wedding vendors came together to create a playful celebration of life and love. And what could make this wedding inspo even better? A pup! Yep, the couple's adorable pup makes an appearance in his very own turquoise bowtie and tuxedo shirt. 

This cheery shoot was designed and organized by Jennifer Nicole Photography & Films and Lubelle's Cakes. Jennifer didn't shy away from saturation in this shoot and the result is a collection of bright, vibrant photos and a video that capture the essence of this special day at Adams Estate. Alyssa Maldonado Design created all of these stunning floral arrangements that amp up the life and color even more! A SWEET COLLAB 

I planned this shoot with Cortne, the owner of Lubelle's Cakes. Cortne and I met during the pandemic and clicked immediately. During a time of such uncertainty, it was nice to have a friend in the industry to bounce ideas off of and to support and be creative with! Since then, we've been trying to come up with a gorgeous idea for a shoot that elevated our brands while still maintaining the true essence of what weddings are all about... and well, here it is! We picked Adams Estate for its timeless and romantic vibe, gorgeous staircase, unique boathouse, and waterfront view! Adams Estate is located on Lake Alfred, in the heart of Central Florida. While we have tons of barns and ballrooms, I think it's safe to say estate houses are not found here very frequently. The house sits right on the water, and the sunset can be truly breathtaking. The romantic and classy venue provides beauty inside and out! Straight from the venue's website, "Located midway between Orlando and Tampa in the quiet railroad town of Lake Alfred, Florida, the Adams Estate sits on more than 24 acres of unspoiled outdoor beauty. Sprawling citrus groves create a private and picturesque frontage for the property, and a 700+ acre lake surrounds the Estate on three sides, providing an expansive waterfront backdrop for your special event. The property has been passed down to the family’s third generation of descendants, who have carefully maintained its timeless grace and classic charm." 

SOME COLORFUL BRANDS 

Florals dominated every part of this day! I've never seen such fluffy-looking roses before! The arrangements by Alyssa Maldonado Design complemented every detail we had and elevated the space for that timeless and romantic look. And the best part? The bouquet! As a team, we wanted to incorporate soft pastels for spring while still maintaining the integrity of our colorful brands. Together we rounded up some of the finest vendors Central Florida has to offer. From classy balloon arches to a trio of gorgeous cakes, triangular ceremony arches, and cotton candy-Prosecco cocktails. We did not let a single detail go unnoticed! We even had a beautiful pup, Oski, join us for the fun! Oski is a beautiful chocolate Boykin Spaniel, who by the way, is the best boy! Oski was handled by Regina of Furry Venture's Pet Care, who specializes in pet management for couples who would like to include their pets on their wedding day. It's a unique service that is becoming more popular as dog moms and dads are finding the best bridal party members are their pups! 

DRESSED TO IMPRESS 

Francine wore the 'Montgomery' gown by Wtoo in a delicate but strikingly modern Moscato color. The gown is a v-neck ball gown with an illusion bodice, thoughtfully placed embroidered motifs, coupled with horsehair trimmed layers in the skirt that convey movement. This gown was the perfect addition to the pastel color palette and is the embodiment of romantic and playful, just like Francine! Her natural blush makeup and stunning updo with a handmade floral hairpiece and pearl veil were the perfect way to finish her look. And Thiago? Looking dapper as ever in his fitted blue suit. 

THREE CAKES ARE BETTER THAN ONE 

Can we talk about these cakes now?!?! Not one, not two, but THREE amazing cakes–all different sizes but equally as beautiful (and delicious I might add). These cakes incorporated different techniques in the pastry world. Bas-relief texture fondant florals can be found on all three, as well as soft, pastel hand-painted watercolor and swoon-worthy, delicate ruffled layers. Truly an edible piece of art! Lubelle's also incorporated florals that matched our reception table on all three cakes which gave a pop of added color to each design. 

CUSTOMIZE IT 

An often overlooked detail is the tablescape! Not only did we incorporate those gorgeous florals and place settings, but we also had unique chocolate favors and personalized resin place cards. This is not something I've seen all too often, but these round resin place cards filled with gold foil and loose florals had names written in the most beautiful calligraphy and made you do a double-take! They almost resembled coasters–I'm pretty much obsessed and need some for myself! Flourish Creative Designs also provided sage and gold foil acrylic signage, including a bar menu and a "Love in Full Bloom" sign as well as this beautiful stationery that would make any photographer swoon. The invitation suite was accompanied by curated styling props hand-selected just for us by Champagne and Grit. 

NOTEWORTHY DETAILS 

Other noteworthy parts of the day were the balloon arch sweetheart table, the trio of triangular custom-built ceremony pieces, The Bubble Buggi bar cart, and of course, the estate house itself. The balloon arch was located in the venue’s boathouse, which sits closest to the lake. The upper level is actually the groom's loft! We incorporated the balloon arch into the sweetheart table because it was a whimsical accent piece for the modern white brick inside the boathouse. It really elevated the look and was something pretty unique too! The ceremony site had a trio of pink, blue, and sage triangle pieces to match our palette. Accompanied by florals and the venue’s beautiful greenery, the ceremony space makes for a great spot to say,"I do!”. These were handcrafted and painted just for us by Designs By Laconic. They can literally make anything, so when I reached out to them with this vision, they seemed so excited to do something a little different. The Bubble Buggi had prepared a cotton candy and Prosecco cocktail for us, which was a 21+-year-old kid's dream drink haha! The bright blue drink was a perfect fit for this whimsical day. Inside of the estate house, you'll find a gorgeous staircase leading up to the bridal suite, and just on the other side of the wall, a large room with a grand piano and marble fireplace with built-in shelving on either side for a great champagne wall! This is where we had our lounge area with a pink sweetheart loveseat. And of course, outside the estate house, you’ll find well-maintained greens, orange groves, and so much more!
