From Elite Events: In terms of bridal style, the bride’s Yolan Cris gown featured gorgeous lace appliques and fine details which gave this romantic style an antique look with a modern flare. For hair and makeup, we kept it regal and elegant with a soft smoky eye and textured waves. The bride’s bouquet also featured a patterned ribbon in luxurious shades of purple that flawlessly coordinated with the invitations and tablescape.
The altar was crafted around a large antique window pane with stained glass that we found at the venue. We draped a large garland elegantly over top of the window pane and adorned it with flowers in key locations to give the altar a slightly asymmetrical feel. Candles and other flowers were placed at the base of the altar to give the ceremony a warm and romantic glow that made everything completely come to life.
We adore the look of a gorgeously executed table design, so we wanted to focus on the exciting small details while not going overboard with colors or too many items on the table. We feel that thoughtful details are a key part of any wedding so the couple can showcase their personality and style to their guests. These little details will keep people guessing and have them excited to explore what other goodies you have in store for them.
We knew we wanted the cake to be a gorgeous statement piece, but we didn’t want it to overpower the rest of the reception details. As such, we decided to use several different textures in various soft shades of purple to keep the cake design interesting, yet still cohesive with the overall look. The cake features four very different textures that further showcase the fun yet soft and romantic tone of the decor. The macarons were crafted to perfection in a series of purple hues and then hand-calligraphed so they could be used as place cards.
