From Key Event Planning: This wedding epitomized romance of days gone by, exquisitely complimented by both traditional and on-trend, modern elements. Bathed in a backdrop of candy pink blooms that look more like confectionary than flowers, this couple’s sweetness for each other was brought to life.
vintage inspiration
Antique floral dishware featuring gilded elements and vintage cake trays referenced tradition and family: creating the ideal level of sentiment and charm. The vintage inspired crate bins with perfectly faded branding and vintage supermarket items including a flour scale and grocer’s ladder create a sense of ease and informality. Other non-tradition elements like the addition of donuts as opposed to cake created a currency to their wedding, exemplifying the couple’s individual taste and naturalness with each other.
effortless details
The bride’s dress, with its frothy layers and sparkling details perfectly countered the groom’s tie-less and open collar three-piece suit. A level of sensuality was also present, exemplified by the use of bon-bon colored roses instead of traditional white candlesticks. Details like the L-O-V-E sign expertly yet seemingly effortlessly was made to look vintage. It not only echoed the sentiment of adoration and commitment, but also complimented the colors of the sweet treats that were on offer.
