From Kelsey of Back Bay Bride: For this shoot we wanted to create inspiration for a winter wedding that was distinctive from the holidays and used unexpected hues for the season in beautiful ways. Dusty blue was the first color to come to mind as a cool, wintery tone. Burgundy was a natural complement and helped to warm up the pallet. Various shades of the two colors rounded out the design.
Icy blue hand painted watercolor invitations set the tone for the event. The florals pulled in a mixture of textures and striking blooms in sprawling arrangements that added dimension to our tablescape. Bride and bridesmaid in two-piece gowns were stunning against the white snowy landscape.
The barn at Maple Rock Farms was the perfect backdrop for this winter wonderland scene. A mixture of luxe and vintage elements created a colorful, whimsical tabletop and comfort food like Maine specialty whoopee pies and hot chocolate gave a cozy vibe.
From A.Fogarty Photography: Many think of Maine as a destination wedding location in the summer, but this inspiration shoot proves that Maine is a destination all four seasons. All vendors did an incredible job at bringing together a vision that helps display the unique beauty Maine has to offer.
