Omgeee!! You may want to add a light tunnel and rowboat to your wedding decor after you see this inspiration from Picturesque Photos by Amanda and Nicole Allen Events. They collaborated with a group of vendors to bring this styled shoot to life at Spain Ranch, and it was all inspired by the sweet little Whitewall rowboat for two.
Gorgeous blooms and soft hues of blush and grey gave this shoot the romantic touch it needed. After a row around the pond, the couple enjoyed a romantic dining experience beneath a canopy of lights (1800 lights, to be exact)! See, every wedding needs a light tunnel! This styled shoot came about when I (Amanda, the photographer) found this gorgeous Whitehall rowboat for sale. I snatched it up quickly and started brainstorming where we could have a shoot to show it off. Naturally, Spain Ranch's lovely venue near Tulsa (has a white barn, a black barn, and a pond) was my first choice. Bronwyn from Spain Ranch and Nicole from Nicole Allen Events were the masterminds behind the design and bringing all the vendors together. We all agreed that the boat gave us a "Notebook" vibe so we ran with it. Nicole's vision board not only included a floral adorned boat, but also a little picnic area with a rug, pillows and a bar cart. We then transferred the pillows to the boat to make it nice and cozy.
Our table setting (rentals by Party Pro) featured a light tunnel by Lionsroad that made the entire set. It took 3 people 3 hours to set up 600 feet of light strands containing 1800 individual twinkle lights. I used long lenses and wide apertures to really show off the lights in the photography.
From Nicole Allen Events: The inspiration for this shoot started with the adorable rowboat. We knew that we wanted to keep things soft and romantic with a touch of boho, so we stuck with blush pink and grey. Velvet is one of our favorite trends right now, so we chose grey velvet linen, paired with the Grey Dust Rattan Back Louis chair. To make a statement on the grey velvet, we pair the gold and blush heirloom charger, with blush napkins and gold flatware. For flowers, we stayed consistent with the romantic vibe and chose white and blush blooms with a thick greenery runner. We had the greenery running off the ends of the table with petals and candles trailing, and inside of the light tunnel it was truly magical!
