This dreamy, romantic bridal editorial took place at La Maison Lavande, just outside of Montreal, Canada and is an inspiration for a whimsically elegant intimate wedding ceremony.
Jaw-dropping florals by Flourish & Knot incorporated exquisitely textured garden roses, delphiniums, scabiosa, and ranunculus in a garden-gathered style. A hand-made floral wristlet was a beautiful and practical alternative to a bridesmaids bouquet.
Delicate and romantic stationery for this intimate celebration was created by Deux Amoureux Invitations. Each invitation and dining menu were hand cut for a romantic and dreamy touch.
The picnic-set up was decorated with hand-dyed textiles, linen throws and cloud-like cushions, accented with fine-art florals brimming of locally-grown blooms that were carefully curated by a team of Montreal-based vendors, led by planner and stylist Lulucoeurdebeurre.
The brides ethereal gown of lace and tulle by Willow by Watters was accented by a delicate velvet ribbon, echoing the iridescent velvet of the bridesmaid infinity dress, which is an exclusive and unique design of Montreals’ boho bridal boutique Dream it Yourself .
Makeup Artist Catherine Laniel created a natural and fresh look, inspired by the lavender hues, using all cruelty-free products. The bridesmaids modern pony tail hairstyle represented the ultimate romantic beauty vibe. A gorgeous organically-dyed lavender colored ribbon by Maisonnote with just a simple knot and free-flowing ends added a modern touch to the look.
Lavender infused sweets were designed and created by the cake artist and owner of LLK Little Leah’s Kitchen. Her designs in soft pastel colors consisted of a signature flavor rose pistachio cake with dried lavender accents as well as LLK's signature cupcakes in classic vanilla bean flavor, topped with mini macaroons and lavender candy. These gourmet desserts made the ideal wedding favor as they come in LLK' on-the-go boxes. And who could resist those adorable and creamy lavender pudding with edible pansy flowers?
To top it off, the delicately, hand-made, translucent lavender flavored crystal lollipops were vegan and gluten free and designed with organic, edible dried flowers and gold leaf. They are unique, delicious and totally on-trend. Each dessert bite was designed with lots of love and passion and definitely tasted as amazing as they looked.
Freshly-squeezed lavender lemonade was refreshing and deliciously accented with hand-made lavender macaroons and were therefore the ideal non-alcoholic drink on this hot summer day.
Gorgeous tableware with hand painted florals and a golden cutlery set by VdeV Maison added a unique touch to the picnic-style seating.
